Evolution of the IEFT Study Abroad Magazine Originally launched in 2001 as a supplement to the IEFT Exhibitions, the IEFT Fair Guide was distributed to visitors free of charge semi annually at each of the two annual IEFT Exhibitions and profiled the institutions and schools participating in the IEFT fairs. Over the past six years, the IEFT Fair Guide has grown rapidly and became an unparalleled source for students looking for overseas education programs. IEFT saw the demand for a more comprehensive material for potential students who are looking at studying abroad. Thus the Fair Guide was redesigned resulting in a larger format with better production values, glossier paper and more in depth articles that explore all aspects of overseas education. The transition to a full fledged magazine was natural.
The year 2008 saw the re-launch of the publication in the form of the IEFT Study Abroad Magazine. The new format kept true to its original vision of providing detailed profiling of fair participants and maintaining its reputation as an unparalleled source for students looking to study abroad. However the new format offers a wider-range of articles, independent advice and study abroad guidance for the prospective student looking to make an informed overseas choice. A Winning Concept Each edition of IEFT Study Abroad Magazine explores the various choices Turkish students have when considering their “study abroad” options. Every publication acts as an essential guide highlighting not only the institutions but also giving students an excellent introduction to destination countries and the different levels of programs offered on an international plain. Each issue highlights current trends in the study abroad field and showcases destination countries meeting overseas education needs. IEFT has always maintained a reputation as a market leader in overseas education. The organization’s founders are three well-established, highly-reputed industry leaders in Turkey, with many years of experience in the field of international education. They are able to spot trends and are always listening to the voice of the Turkish education consumer. IEFT Study Abroad Magazine is their magazine, reflecting a more in depth approach to the overseas market.
